Researcher Trainings
Community Engaged Research
We offer a collaborative approach to training academics and researchers in how to involve community members as equal partners in the research process, from co-creation of research questions to partnership in interpreting results.
Tailored Training for Funded Projects
We provide customized training programs that are designed to meet the specific needs of researchers and community partners involved in funded projects. These trainings can cover a wide range of topics, such as research methods, data analysis, and grant writing.
Community-Based Participatory Research
We specialize in a type of community engaged research that is characterized by a deep and sustained partnership between researchers and community members. CBPR is often used to address issues that are important to the community, such as health, education, and economic development.

The CCRC hosted it’s first training with University of Colorado faculty, MINES researchers, and public health practitioners to discuss community engagement and research, and how to be effective facilitators and partners during research projects. Community Workshops
Building a Team
Drawing from our network of researchers in Colorado, we can bring together a team of researchers and community partners to help you reach the goals of your research project. We can also help you develop and negotiate Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) and Work Agreements (WAs), which will help to formalize the relationship between research team and community partners, and ensure that everyone is on the same page and feels comfortable within the working relationship.
Grant Writing
We have a team of experienced grant writers who can help you write proposals to secure funding for your research projects. We understand the research process and can help you articulate your project's goals and objectives in a clear and concise manner.
Data Analysis
We offer a variety of data analysis and data translation services. We can help you analyze you learn how to use your data to answer research questions, identify trends, and develop recommendations. We can also help you convert your data into a format that is understandable and useful to community members and policymakers alike.
Project Management
We offer project management services to help you plan, organize, and oversee the execution of your research projects. We can help you set deadlines, allocate resources, and monitor progress.
Knowledge Mobilization
We offer a comprehensive suite of services to help you assess the outcomes of your research projects and distribute the findings to stakeholders. We can help you learn metrics of evaluating your project's success, identify areas for improvement, and develop strategies to show how and why your research matters to be used on an existing project and on future projects.
