Erika is a MA student in the Department of Geography & Environmental Sciences. In addition to advising the CCRC team on proposal writing strategy, she helps coordinate the department’s Geospatial Analysis & Mapping Lab. Her interests include environmental justice, urban nature, and critical cartography. Before returning to school, she served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Senegal, worked in federal and local public health departments, and spent a few too many years wrangling interdisciplinary teams of scientists and engineers working on multi-million dollar research proposals.
